OKAY! It's time to come out of the woodwork. You finally convinced me to write with your new "idea"! What a fabulous idea it is. You are so creative and inspiring each day. I have been reading your blog for a little over a year now...not even sure how I stumbled upon it, but from day one I was hooked. I have a prayer request and a praise all rolled into one to share with you and your readers. My college roomate's husband was in a horrific motorcycle accident last February. His name is John Keller and he is 34. He and his entire family are believers and such an awesome example of what God can do. After undergoing 3 surgeries to reduce the swelling in John's brain, the doctor's told the family John had brainstem damage. Brainstem damage cannot be repaired. John spent a few weeks in a coma. Doctor's went so far as to tell the family that John would never hold down a job again. Well, the Keller's never once stopped believing in the good Lord Almighty and prayed for total restoration of John. John has come leaps and bounds in the last few months. He is at a rehab hospital in Houston and the staff and therapists there stood right along with this precious family and knew John would make great progress. John is a miracle. He is now walking, shooting basketballs, eating a little bit on his own, he recognizes his friends and family, remembers birthdays and facts about people's lives, and just yesterday started TALKING!!! His family has waited almost an entire year to hear his voice again. April and John have 2 boys, 3 years and 1 year old. John's family and April have never waivered on their beliefs and just knew God would answer thier prayers. I ask that your readers join them and continue to pray for John's full recovery so that he can get back home with his wife and boys soon. John is just proof that HE does perform miracles. His family started a blog to keep everyone updated and also excepts and posts prayer requests. Thier blog can be found at johnkellerupdate.blogspot.com . They have people praying all over the world for them, but John still needs those prayers. I have spoken with April, and she gave me permission to send this to you.
Thank you again for starting this prayer request for all your AGD followers...YOU ROCK!
