Hey Angie, I read your blog every day and often have withdrawals when you don't post for a day or two. You have really touched my life in so many ways that you can't imagine. I know God drew me to your post for a reason. I have been following Cora McClenahan's post for a week and came across a blogger that is raising money for the Playground they want to put in at their church. You can visit this wonderful blog and pass it on to all the AGD girls if you want. I have not started blogging yet but hope to soon. Her blog is HERE.
Thanks so much, Kendall Fletcher

PS...FYI for all of you not familiar with baby Cora. Cora Paige had a few strange symptoms a couple of weeks ago. (i.e., mysterious black eye, not feeling well, etc.) When her parents took her to the doctor to have her further examined, they discovered she had cancer. That was two weeks ago. Baby Cora passed away on Sunday morning. She looked to be hanging on but in two weeks time went from bad to worse. Jesus took her home this past weekend. She was just 11 months old and didn't even get the chance to reach her first birthday. Please stop by her Mom's blog which is highlighted above and let them know that you are praying for them. Her funeral was today so I'm sure this has been an extremely tough day for them. After that, stop by Julie's blog in regards to the fundraising they are doing in honor of Cora's life.
In him, Angie

Hi Angie. I just found your blog, due to a Google Alert for Cystic Fibrosis. I will pray for Dane (in the blog post below), as well as all of the others on your blog. What a wonderful way to get prayer requests out! I have a prayer request for a blog friend of mine. You may have heard of them. Abby, 4 years old, has Leukemia. She is in immense pain, and in the part of her treatment that is very critical. Her family has amazing strength and faith in God, and know that His will is being done, but it does not make all that they are going through any easier. Please add them to your prayer blog, and help get word out about their struggle. You can visit their site HERE.
Thank you, Cindy

My heart is heavy today and I ask that you pray for this family. Although the school where this incident took place this morning is not my own children's school district, it is just a short distance away from our area. The story is devastating. My sister in law texted me this morning to alert me of the story and thought that it would be good to add to the prayer blog. I agree. The child killed has been rumored to be a 10 year old special needs boy. Not only is he the same age as my healthy son, but if he did have special needs, it hits home again for me in regards to Kenidi, our 5 year old special needs daughter. Please lift these parents up in prayer today as well as the bus driver involved and the children/adults who witnessed the tragedy take place. I can't imagine what they are all going thru. God be with them today and in their days/months ahead. You can read the story and watch the news video HERE.

Hi Angie,

Thru the years you have always been so good about praying for whatever I have asked. I have a request for your prayer blog, actually I have 2 requests. The 1st one is for a friend of mine, Sue Homme. Since August of 2005 Sue has been the pre school teacher for both of my sons Cade and Aiden.

She was Cade's 3 yr old teacher, and Aiden had her for 2 & 3 yr olds. She is an amazing person that children just love! She is also a wonderful wife and mother of 4 fabulous kids! Last week Sue was diagnosed with breast cancer. We are devastated for Sue and her family. We all want to help her and her family. Right now she is just asking that everyone just pray for her and her family. Her faith is amazing and she knows the Lord will guide her and her family thru this trying time. She is ready to fight and has just started chemotherapy this week. It is also her intention to stay at St. Jerome's and continue to teach the 3 yr olds. To say that she is loved by her little ones (the students) and their parents would be an understatement!! Please ask your prayer warriors to pray for Sue and her family. Strength for all of them!! Sue and her husband have 4 children. The oldest 2 are twin boys that are in their 1st year of college. Her daughter is a junior in High School and her youngest is a freshman. This is a trying time for all. Please pray for them. Thank you so much!!

My other prayer request is for my friend from high school, Jeannette Carrell Adamyk.

She is currently pregnant with her 2nd child. She just received the news a few weeks ago that baby Caleb has Trisomy 18. Jeannette and her husband are praying that baby Caleb lives long enough after he is born for them to hold him and love on him before they send him home to Heaven. Please pray for Caleb to live long enough for them to love on him, and enjoy the short time they will have with this beautiful baby. Also pray for Caleb to be strong and to know the love of his parents and brother. My heart is broken for Jeannette, and what her family is going through.

Thank you so much!!
Nina

Angie,

I have been a lurker of your (AGD) blog for a little over a year now. I love how you share yourself, your LOVES, your compassion. Thank You for that. I have come to believe throughout the last year of reading your thoughts and all that you share here on these pages that you have many GOD GIVEN GIFTS and you use them for HIS GLORY, I ADORE THAT ABOUT YOU! With that said, I am wondering if you would do a post asking for PRAYER for this family during their time of need, thank you for considering this. I would do it but I don't have a blog, much less the gift of beautiful writing like you. Their story just crossed my path today. Warmly, Angela(Yes, we share the same name)

____________________________________________________________________

To my prayer warriors (from Angie): I don't know much about this family but I took a few minutes to skim their blog and read their story. One of her Mother's posts from back on December 30th really stuck out to me. Actually, it brought me to crippling tears (for use in the mother's own words). Her post was short that day but read...

The fight is on.
New Chemos vs. New Tumor
Heavy Morphine vs. Crippling Pain
Will vs. Odds
Love vs. Fear
All I know, is my money is on the cute, bald girl.
Thank you all for your prayers. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Then, the last post her mother wrote just yesterday - almost one month later - included and was this:

My deepest fears were confirmed. Tomorrow (Thursday, January 29th) we take our precious daughter home. Her cancer doubled in size in less than a week proving once and for all that it is horribly aggressive and no longer chemo sensitive. We have no idea how to do this but we have no doubt we will be cared for every step of the way. This is all I have in me. Please pray for peace for our children, our parents and our siblings. Tuesday, full of grace, you are our so very loved.

So...while we are all rushing around cleaning house, playing on the computer, running errands, getting our kids off the bus and bringing them inside our warm lively homes this afternoon...just know that their is one more family out there letting go of their precious child. Their daughter will get her wings today. Please, please, please pray for this family today and in their days ahead.

In him. Angie

Angie,
I recently came across you website and absolutely love it. I live in Fishers and was inspired to see your work. It is great so see someone that lives locally so inspirational and talented.

I am asking for prayers about a possible adoption possibility. I had cancer 10 years ago and was unable to have children on my own. My husband and I were fortunate enough almost 4 years ago to adopt our daughter. She has been such a blessing. I really want to adopt another child so that my daughter can have a sibling if it is God's will.

I recently heard about a mother that had a baby and we thought that she MIGHT give the baby up for adoption. Well unfortunately she didn't. I heard on Friday this young mother now has given her parental rights up and has turned the baby over to her mother (grandmother). Unfortunately, the girl has now given up both of her children. She has a little boy and girl. Her mother has had custody of the little boy since he was little as well. This is just a sad situation. Her mother stated she just can not keep raising these children. I don't know what is going to happen with this situation but I just ask for prayers for the Grandmother, young mother and these two precious children.

My best friend talked to the Grandmother Friday. I guess the young mother is wanting to up and move to Florida with her boyfriend. She is so lost. Most of all I really feel so bad for the children. This little boy and girl are being raised now by there Grandmother and she feels that she can't do it. My friend was telling the Grandother about my husband and I and our adoption wishes. I just pray that if this is God's will he will intervene.

I know there are alot of stories out there like this one and I hope that some prayers will help all parties involved in this.

Thanks so much for your prayer request site. It is grately appreciated.
In His name...Glenda

I posted about Baby Harper Stamps on the regular AGD blog last week. All of our prayers are working. They are truly working. God is performing another miracle and we are all going to be witness to the entire event. Baby Harper wasn't expected to make it thru her first couple of nights of life last weekend. As of today, she is breathing on her own over 50% of the way and is getting healthier with each passing second.
Keep praying my friends. Keep praying. Kelly and Scott need us to continue lifting them up as well as Baby Harper.

Isn't she just stunning?Lifting you up sweet, sweet, girl.
In him, Angie and the prayer warriors

This blog is intended for those individuals requesting prayer for themselves or someone they know who needs prayer as well. Whether we know you personally or whether you are just a passer by on this blog, we would love to lift you or someone you know up in prayer.

Do you have a praise? If so, we'd love to hear about that and share Gods blessings as well. The bible states that for two or more people who come together in agreement of prayer will have their prayers answered. Therefore, this place is our place to lift one another up when prayer calls all while knowing that there are not just two but hundreds of us in agreement.

Want to keep things anonymous, we can do that too. Either post anonymously on the blog or feel free to shoot me an email at Angie@AngelicaGraceDesigns.com. No matter what, your prayers are safe with us should you not want names and full details released to the blog world.

In His Grip,
Angie Seaman
