Baby Stellan needs our prayers again. His story is near and dear to my heart considering I've experienced similar issues with my own heart in recent weeks - (as most of you already knew). Stellan had problems in utero and is now experiencing more of the same now months later. Please continue to watch MckMama's blog and lift them all up in prayer.

Thanks, Angie

A sad update to Seamus' story below... Please pray for Sharon and Tom during this very difficult time. It's heart breaking. I hate to see any parent have to go through this. If you knew Tom and Sharon you would feel their goodness as people instantly. There are just no words for what they must be going through right now. Thanks Angie. Rachel

The Children's garden on the 8th floor has always been a place for Sharon and Tom to retreat during this journey with Seamus. It has given them peace, tranquility and a place to bring them closer with the outside world when it was overwhelmin g inside.Earl ier this evening, Sharon and Tom took Seamus to this beautiful, peaceful place to spend their last moments together. They held him in their arms, they read to him, loved on him and were just with him. It was here that there little angel spread his wings and flew to the arms of his heavenly father.Plea se pray for God to give them the strength and peace to accept His will for Seamus and them.

Good morning Angie. I have a prayer request to ask for. I know that the power of prayer can be amazing - so I'm asking for all of the prayers I can find.

My husband and I have two amazing friends, Tom and Sharon Johnston who were expecting a baby after quite a while trying. On March 1, Sharon gave birth to Thomas Seamus (pronounced Shay-mus) Johnson. The problem is, Seamus wasn't due until June. So, because he was born about 3 months early, he is literally fighting every day for his life. He's had good days and bad days, but he keeps fighting. He has a long road ahead of him and every day is a test for Seamus and his mommy and daddy.

Tom and Sharon are truly two of the very kindest, most wonderful and positive people we know. They are the people you want in your life forever - and people who are ideal to be parents. I ask for prayers for tiny baby Seamus and for our friends Tom and Sharon!

I've attached a couple of pictures from their website. One of the Johnston's hands and one of Tom's wedding ring on Seamus's arm. Thanks Angie.

Hi Angie,

I'm not sure how the prayer blog works but I have a family that is in need. I volunteer at my daughters school 3 days a week and today was a very sad day. One of our students, an 8 year old boy named Brandon Brownen, was killed last night when he was hit by a drunk driver (while skateboarding), who not only struck the boy but proceeded to drive the remaining 3 blocks to his (the drivers) house, parked his vehicle, went in and went to bed. I personally know this boy. He was a good boy. Very polite and kind to everyone. I along with other parents and faculty members spent today trying our best to console his classmates. My heart aches for his mother. I can't imagine what she is going through. I know that his family and his classmates could sure us as many prayers as possible in the next coming weeks. HERE is a link to his story.
Thanks Angie. Jessica

UPDATE AS OF 3/23/09: Please pray for this family. It was recently determined that the bus driver is the one who actually hit and killed Ziang. Police have ruled his death an accident and do not plan to press charges against the bus driver - who admits to feeling a thump near the area where Ziang's body was found on the morning of his death. To read the full report following the investigation, go HERE.
Ziang Ke is a young 15 year old boy who lived in the neighborhood behind our new home up North. I first learned of Ziang by a local Mom when she informed me that a student in the school district had died from a fall on the ice while waiting on his bus earlier that morning. It broke my heart to learn of the story from her as well as to hear about it on the news in the following days and weeks. Since the accident, I pass by the spot each day where Ziang's body was found by a middle school student - unresponsive - and just right behind our new home. Ziang was a highschool freshman and had the whole world going for him. Initially, the reports from police were that Ziang died from injuries due to a fall while running on the ice. However, once the autopsy was completed, people began to question what really happened to this young boy. As of January 15th, police were still investigating whether he fell on an icy sidewalk or whether a school bus or another vehicle hit him. An autopsy showed the boy's spine and ribs had cut into his liver, an injury that would be "a little unusual" after a fall, said Hamilton County Coroner Thurl Cecil. Ziang's backpack was found 30 to 40 feet away from where his body was discovered.

You can imagine my shock and surprise when learning this afternoon that Ziang is the son of the woman and man who do my nails here at the local nail salon. I had no idea. I hadn't been in the salon since before Christmas. Today was my first day back in almost two months due to being gone over the holidays on vacation and such. While there this afternoon, I learned that Ziang belonged to Grace and Michael. (the salon owners) I have come to know and love them since moving to the North side. I was recommended to their salon by a blog reader/AGD customer of mine. Since the beginning, I have always adored Grace and her upbeat, very personable demeanor. They always ask me about my children and how they are doing. This family is so very kind, so incredibly sweet. I watched Michael, Ziangs father, break into sobbing tears today in the salon when discussing his sons death just a month ago. To say that it broke my heart to witness this would be an understatement. I left there today with tears rolling down my face and called Brent and Mom to tell them about it. Needless to say, I was a mess the rest of the afternoon. Being so new to the area, I had no idea that Grace and Michael lived right behind our neighborhood nor did I realize that Ziang was their son. Until today.

Please pray for this family. They are an incredible couple and are strong in their faith. However, their pain was very evident today as I witnessed this father mourn openly, the loss of their only child. Their son. Please also pray for the police department regarding their investigation of this accident. Father God we just ask that if there is someone out there who knows something or has the truth, that they will have the courage to come forward and bring justice to this tragic boys death.

My stepson has cystic fibrosis. He was diagnosed as a baby and he will be 30 years old in March. He's been in the hospital since before Christmas with bacterial infections that have pretty much destroyed what is left of his lungs. He has been moved to an acute care facility and is now relying on a feeding tube and vent. Dane is alert and very scared. I ask for prayers for him, for I am unsure of his salvation. I pray that he finds the Lord and accepts him into his heart and that God gives him the peace and strength to accept the inevitable. I also ask for prayer for the family. It will be a difficult day when we have to lay to rest a child in the family. Dane is unmarried and has no children. If it would be possible, I'd like to request the blog readers to send Dane a note of encouragement. I know he would love receiving cards to open. But more important I'm asking for prayers. Please pray for this young man, whose limited time is controlled by God.

Thank you sooo much Angie, for providing this avenue to reach out to prayer warriors. Blessings, Deb Williams

Angie,
Remember me? I want to share my pain as a mother. My failure to keep my beautiful baby boy safe from alcohol and drugs. Safe from losing my precious daughter from a tragic birth defect that left her heart unable to sustain her past her first birthday. Failure as a mother who was unable to keep her husband from the arms of another woman. Failure to give my 12 year old daughter a father at the most critical time in a young girls life. Failure to be tough and kick my son out of my home for abusing alcohol when he rages on us and punches holes in walls and breaks windows. If anyone is a failure it is me. But the Lord knows my heart and He is the only one who can forgive me. On this coming Monday (January 26th) I am having a professional intervention in my home to save my son, Luca (which means "of the light") . It is my last ditch effort. If he is unwilling to go into rehab for treatment I must ask him to leave my home and make it on his own. He is emotionally and physically messed up b/c I failed to keep his father at home. PLEASE Pray for me and my family. My whole life.... All I wanted was a happy family! Someday in heaven is where my happiness lies. I would rather have terminal cancer and die than watch my children suffer.
Someday we will meet in paradise! God hold your hand until then...Lovingly, Susan
(You may put us on any and all prayer lists as possible. Please blog for me as I cannot find the wherewithall to repeat myself again before tomorrow. I will keep u posted Angie!)

PS...Really, are the Hoosiers praying?

This blog is intended for those individuals requesting prayer for themselves or someone they know who needs prayer as well. Whether we know you personally or whether you are just a passer by on this blog, we would love to lift you or someone you know up in prayer.

Do you have a praise? If so, we'd love to hear about that and share Gods blessings as well. The bible states that for two or more people who come together in agreement of prayer will have their prayers answered. Therefore, this place is our place to lift one another up when prayer calls all while knowing that there are not just two but hundreds of us in agreement.

Want to keep things anonymous, we can do that too. Either post anonymously on the blog or feel free to shoot me an email at Angie@AngelicaGraceDesigns.com. No matter what, your prayers are safe with us should you not want names and full details released to the blog world.

In His Grip,
Angie Seaman
